The second meeting of the IGF was held in Rio de Janeiro on 12-15 November 2007. The forum founded in 2006 is a worldwide organisation which supports the United Nations in promoting multi-stakeholder policy dialogue on internet governance. Last year's Internet Governance Forum discussed issues such as critical Internet resources, access, diversity, openness and security.
