Cooperatives vs nonprofit Franchises vs Flexible Business Networks

Hi,

I live in the Basque Country, and have some info about MCC, as it is
well-known.

At MCC, a co-worker first works as a regular-company worker, usually for
1-2 years. Then, based on the worker's performance during that time, he
is offered to become a co-worker or not.

There are plenty of examples of cooperative enterprises failing,
specially "traditional" enterprises that later became cooperatives.
Co-workers need to have some attitudes that it is not necessary to have
(although it is good to have) in a "regular" enterprise.

Some of MCC cooperatives have bought other enterprises, and they do not
always "convert" the employees of those enterprises in co-workers; it is
studied for each situation.

Just my 2 eurocents.
