Dear all
Oi gente,
hallo Leute,
I read your contribution, concerns and comments with pleasure
here are 2 successful experiences in french speaking countries:
1. COOPERATION.NET
Global scope :
http://www.ynternet.org/ynternet.org/info/110992
Specific GNU Business model :
http://www.ynternet.org/ynternet.org/info/106838
Cooperation.net is a network of trainer on free culture (training and
coaching services on how to create a webprofile on a free CMS, how to
migrate from using M$ applications to Free application, such as
passing from MSWord to OOo, etc..., also including translation
services, etc...), whcih means not GNU software oriented, but GNU
culture oriented)
This network is on since 1998, seriously installed since 2003, and I'm
one of the founder and I made the business model with 3 colleagues
(Marie-Jane Berchten, Daniel Held & Raphael Rousseau).
2. LIBRE-ENTREPRISE Network.
It's a network of 8 micro-entreprises (1 to 20 co-workers) proposing
GNU software dev & maintenance service. They exist since and they work
well together, off course they are some problems but globally they are
solving well the organizatinal problems, and moreover they are
developing and providing quite visionary software, such as glasnost
CMS and the Lasso GNU-based library for liberty alliance SSO project.
So this is just to inform you that GNU biz sustainable dev is possible.
personnaly, I coach the development of micro-entreprises (1-2
co-workers) for such GNUvalues-based business models, for their
development and selfsufficience.
All best and let's stay in touch
