Hi all,

so far, I got several offers for Hotels in Brussels.

This morning I received the most interesting one from the Atrid Hotel in 
Brussels (near Novotel and Ibis) which is about 400m away from Grand Place.

The offer is as follows:

	?70,00 per single room per night instead of ?220,00
	?74,00 per double/twin room per night instead of ?240,00

	Including american buffet breakfast, taxe and service.

But Attention: On room cancellation within the last 14 days until arrival, 
they will bill up 25% of the room price up to a complete night if cancelled 
within the last 24 hours.

It's a bit cheaper than Ibis and Novotel. The FOSDEM organizers provided an 
offer of EUR 105,-/115,- per room per night in Novotel as a special rate. In 
my eyes, this is far to expensive.

Please let me urgently know, what you think. I would be ready to book this 
one.

My statement was wrong.

All cancellations within 24 hours before arrival (=the day of arrival), the 
first night will be billed, without any exception. If the cancellation is 
done earlier, there won't be cancellation panalty.

The 14-day-zone counts for the whole group booking, only.

Then this sounds very fine for me.
I'd like to have a single room, btw.

Fine with me. Count two persons in one twin Fr-So (2 nights).

Just to make sure:
That does not pertain to us, right? If so - against my expectation,
I'd rather book per "cash & sleep" (69?/night).

As I didn't got any negative votes, I booked the hotel, mentioned in my last 
email. A booking can be cancelled at no cost until 24h before arrival.

if booked via website, you have to pay EUR 8,- per person per night for 
breakfast in addition to the cash & sleep price. This counts for a normal 
booking (EUR 76,-), as well.

As I wrote, breakfast, tax and service is included in the price offered.
