May to 2. June in Berlin Message-ID: <20070406162357.GH3846@mbwg.de> Hi all, LinuxTag [1], one of the most important events around Free Software and business in Europe, will take place from 30. May to 2. June, 2007 at the Berlin Expo Center under the Funkturm in Berlin. FSFE will present a booth at LinuxTag 2007, where we will inform visitors about various aspects of Free Software, like the Fellowship of FSFE [2], software patents [3], SELF project [4], Freedom Task Force [5], or GPLv3 [6]. Also we plan sell T-Shirts from FSFE and books about Free Software. To man the booth, we are looking for volunteers and/or Fellows. The main work will be to answer questions and to involve visitors in interesting discussions related to many aspects of Free Software. Please give me a short note, if you are interested to help us, I would also like to know in which time frame you would prefer to help us, and if you need accommodation (hotel or hostel). I will be with you during the full time scale and would need accomodation, preferably in a hotel, from Tuesday May 29th till Saturday 2nd comprised. I don't mind sharing a room but I'd prefer a single one if it's possible. I plan to go to Berlin by car, so for those going to Berlin from Switzerland who don't want to charge the world with more CO2: there is room for 3 people in my car (a car with 4 people pollutes far less than a plane and it's cheaper than the train!). AFAIK there is a a possibility to get an exhibitor pass for cars, I'd love to have one so I can leave my car at the Exposition, which usually is cheaper than hotel parkings. Thanks, Matze, for organising!
